Warriors of steel: Meet Russia’s robot army

Russia is taking the plunge in inventing combat robots. An army of mind-controlled machines, devoid of fear, will be integrated into a unified man-robot command interface to effectively perform tasks in adverse conditions and prevent human losses on the battlefield, the RG newspaper reported.

NASA releases spellbinding details of Pluto’s surface

NASA has released the most detailed view of Pluto’s surface to date, captured by the New Horizons spacecraft. The fresh images showcase a variety of distinct landscapes. New Horizons Long Range Reconnaissance Imager (LORRI) managed to obtain the pictures some 15,850 kilometers from Pluto’s surface in July 2015.

Have you ever wondered “who” would be blamed this time around? To this point, we speak about the “Lehman moment” when we look back at 2008. Of course it was not Lehman’s fault as they were forced, sacrificed or purposely destroyed, however you’d like to describe it. The way I saw it, the banking system needed an injection of capital, cheap capital and lots of it. The only way to get public funds was to “create” an emergency BEFORE the emergency became all engulfing, this is exactly what they did.

The shift to a cashless society is snowballing

no cash Governments have been increasingly pushing for a cashless society. Ostensibly, by having a paper trail for all transactions, such a move would decrease crime, money laundering, and tax evasion. France’s finance minister recently stated that he would “fight against the use of cash and anonymity in the French economy” in order to prevent terrorism and other threats. Meanwhile, former Secretary of the Treasury and economist Larry Summers has called for scrapping the U.S. $100 bill – the most widely used currency note in the world.
